Miba’s entry into the industrial bearings sector began with the acquisition of four John Crane Bearing (Sartorius Bearings, Orion, TCE) plants in 2018, followed by a joint venture with Zollern Plain Bearings the following year. In the core business for generators or turbomachinery such as gas turbines and compressors, it is important to be a reliable partner, to score with experience, and to offer through close cooperation the customers excellent bearings solutions, even for challenging applications. With a global team and a broad product portfolio, Miba Industrial Bearings (MIB) has the right prerequisites to offer innovative solutions for engineering problems. In addition, MIB can build on immense know- how from the engine bearings business. This ensures high reliability for customers and creates a good reputation in the market. Since June 2018, sales of the newly formed division
MIB have doubled. MIB’s financial stability is a result of being part of the Miba Group, a large and financially strong organization.
