NKE AUSTRIA GmbH is an internationally active manufacturer of premium class rolling
bearings with almost 100 employees at the Steyr site and exports to more than 60 countries.
As part of the Fersa Group with production sites in Austria, Spain and China, we have a
combined turnover of more than 100 million euros in the automotive, agri-tech, mechanical and electrical drive and green energy sectors.
To strengthen our team at the Steyr location, we are looking for a:
Quality Manager (m/w/d)
Your field of activity:
- Create, initiate and monitor quality assurance processes
- Analysing internal and external quality problems
– Creating the necessary reports and documentation
– Developing concepts and measures to ensure specified quality standards and coordinating them with specialist departments
– Develop systems for error prevention - Planning, carrying out and documenting internal and external audits
- Assessing and ensuring product quality (product quality responsibility)
- Introduce process improvements incl. management of the CIP
- Definition of processes for quality management, quality assurance and environmental management
- Elaboration of QA documents (specification documents for quality and environmental
management) - Implementing the developed concepts and measures
– Checking effectiveness and initiating corrective measures if necessary
– Determine the testing method (e.g. SPC, testing severity, measuring method,
measuring equipment) - Instruct and support the employees entrusted with testing tasks
- Evaluate information on quality-relevant data and develop concepts for quality improvement
- Further develop existing procedures, methods and systems as well as test equipment
- Create and maintain quality manuals
- Complaint management (customers, suppliers, internal)
- Draw up quality assurance specifications for suppliers
- Responsibility for quality and environmental management
If you bring this with you:
- Extensive technical education (HTL, university, FH)
- Several years of experience in the field of quality assurance
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 or audit training is an advantage
- Business fluent English
- Good computer skills (MS Office, ERP system)
- Open, outgoing and team player
- Very high customer orientation
- Very high quality standards and attention to detail
- Strong negotiating skills and assertiveness
- Willingness to travel (10%)
