Axel Johnson International Acquires Drivma AB to Expand Power Transmission Portfolio


Axel Johnson International’s business group, Power Transmission Solutions, strengthens its position within sealing technology by acquiring Drivma. The acquisition is made by Swedish company Sverull ElektroDynamo AB and fully aligns with its long-term strategy of becoming a full-range provider of power transmission products and services. Drivma has built its brand over decades through its skilled employees and product knowledge, which has generated a market-leading position.

Sverull has grown its business organically and through acquisitions, with the main purpose of building a group that is stronger together, and who serves the customers in the best possible way. Sverull and Drivma are highly complementary businesses, with Drivma adding expert skills and tools to support the customers when selecting the right sealing solutions. The strategic acquisition of Drivma, aligns with Sverull’s long-term vision and commitment to grow the expertise within seals. An acquisition which will strengthen both companies’ offering to the market, with several synergistic opportunities towards new and existing OEM customers. Sverull sees immense potential in scaling the business, providing a pathway for further growth when creating additional value for customers.
